Crafted for those who demand both striking visual presence and authentic performance, this black katana is forged from T8 high carbon steel and clay tempered to produce a genuine hamon pattern. Hand-polished to a sharp edge and built with a full tang structure, it balances beauty and durability in equal measure.

Blade
The blade is made from T8 high carbon steel, clay tempered using traditional water-quenching methods to form a naturally occurring hamon. The geometry follows the classic shinogi-zukuri profile with a chu-kissaki tip, a proven design that balances cutting efficiency with elegance. Overall length: 40.9 inches (104cm). Blade length: 28.0 inches (71cm). Blade width tapers from 1.26 inches (3.2cm) near the habaki to 0.91 inches (2.3cm) near the kissaki. The edge is hand polished and sharpened for a clean, refined finish. Total weight: 1.4kg.

Mountings
The tsuka is constructed on a hardwood core and wrapped in genuine ray skin with traditional winding rope, providing a comfortable, non-slip grip at 10.6 inches (27cm). The tsuba is crafted from copper, offering a warm metallic contrast against the black blade. The saya is made from hardwood with a smooth lacquer finish, featuring a koiguchi carved from real horn for an elevated, authentic touch.
