Blade
Forged from T10 high carbon steel and clay tempered using traditional water-quenching methods, the blade features a naturally formed hamon line unique to each sword. The geometry follows the classic shinogi-zukuri profile with a chu-kissaki tip, delivering a balance of cutting performance and elegant silhouette. Overall length: 40.9 inches (104cm). Blade length: 28.0 inches (71cm). Blade width tapers from 1.26 inches (3.2cm) near the habaki to 0.91 inches (2.3cm) near the kissaki. The edge is hand-polished and sharpened. Total weight: 1.4kg.Mountings
The tsuka is built on a hardwood core and wrapped in genuine ray skin with traditional winding rope, offering a secure, comfortable grip at 10.6 inches (27cm). The tsuba is crafted from copper for a warm metallic accent. The saya is made from hardwood with a smooth lacquer finish, with a koiguchi carved from real horn for an authentic, refined touch. What's Included

Sword Maintenance
A katana consists of three components: blade, sheath, and accessories. To prevent rust, store your sword in a dry place away from moisture, acids, and salts. Avoid touching the blade with bare hands, as natural skin oils and sweat can cause corrosion. For high carbon steel blades (including T10, medium carbon steel, pattern-welded Damascus, and stainless steel), apply a light coat of oil regularly to protect the surface and preserve the edge.Quality Note & Customization
Designed in Japan and handcrafted in Longquan, the historic sword capital of China. Each katana is individually forged and assembled, which means slight variations in length and finish may occur between pieces—these subtle differences are part of what makes a handmade blade unique.
